It’s here - the zombie apocalypse is upon us! If this announcement troubles you at all, fret not, for all you need are trusty old mushrooms and some pea shooters to deal with the mayhem. How To Scramble iPhone’s Passcode Screen Numbers For Enhanced Security

Ben Reid·August 15, 2013
Most of us like to to keep our personal information safe and secure, and since our smartphones have become the foremost hubs for such content as banking, email and private messages, it's no surprise that security is high on the agenda of many an iPhone user. The native iOS Passcode feature is useful, but fundamentally flawed, because while a long, alphanumeric password can prevent anybody else from gaining access, typing it in every time we want to play a bit of Angry Birds can become rather cumbersome. As such, most of us opt for the famous four-digit Passcode, but while it's relatively convenient, a potential intruder wouldn't need to be too eagle-eyed to spot those rather blatant finger taps. Luckily, there's a tweak at hand to help, and it goes by the name of CodeScrambler. And we’ve got the details after the break!

Sphero 2.0 Robotic Ball Revealed: Faster, Brighter And Smarter Than Ever Before [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 14, 2013
Although we like to think that our smartphones help to keep us generally more productive and on top of our daily tasks, one has to wonder how many hours we lose by playing games and simply daydreaming digitally. The seemingly endless possibilities mean there's always something out there to keep us occupied when wielding our handhelds, and in the case of the Sphero robotic ball, that something is directing a glowing, robotic ball in all kinds of different directions. Having been around for a while now, its maker Orbotix has, for lack of a more apt phrase, just rolled out version 2.0. And yes, it's more awesome than ever before.

Latest iPhone 5C Mockups Reveal iPod touch-like Packaging And Unofficial Announcement Shots [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·August 14, 2013
With less than a month to go until the purported announcement of the next-gen iPhone, Apple fans far and wide are gearing themselves up for what is undoubtedly the key date in their annual tech calendars. Unlike previous years, however, it looks almost certain that Tim Cook's men will also introduce a cheaper, "iPhone 5C" to the fold, a device that will attempt to help increase market share in the West while also establishing a consumer base in developing areas such as India and China. Designer and developer Martin Hajek is certainly a well-recognized member of the Cupertino's sparse following, and amid the anticipation of the iPhone(s), has created some mock-ups not only of the packaging, but also the announcement itself.

iPhone 5S And 5C Release Date Now Tipped For October 25th

Ben Reid·August 13, 2013
As with any new Apple gadget, let alone the flagship iPhone, the rumors of the iPhone 5's successor have been at the fore ever since, well.. since the iPhone 5's first weekend sales figures were posted last fall. When it comes to modern technology, we cannot help but speculate on what might be packed into the next installment, and things got a little more real this weekend with the revelation that the device could be announced on September 10th. But while many consumers may have hoped this would mean they could upgrade their handsets next month, but according to a TechManiacs report, the world's most sought-after smartphone may not hit shelves until October 25th.

Sony’s Carl Zeiss Camera Lens Attachment Accessory For iPhone And Android Devices Leaked [IMAGE]

Ben Reid·August 13, 2013
The smartphone industry is, slowly but surely, edging users away from the makers of standalone camera brands, with some of the biggest names in photography space forced to develop new strategies in order to adapt to the changing face of technology. You only have to look at Nokia's impressive 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 to realize just how much we value that lens on the rear side of our handsets nowadays, and in an attempt to cash in on the obsession with high-quality smartphone snappers, Sony looks to be prepping a lens attachment for both Android and Apple handsets.

Skype For iOS Updated, Brings HD Video Calling To iPhone 5 And 4th-Gen iPad

Ben Reid·August 12, 2013
Although every iOS device now ships with built-in support for FaceTime, Microsoft-owned Skype still enjoys a decent following on Apple's range of mobile products. Today, many months after Windows Phone was treated to HD video calling support, the Redmond has updated its iPhone and iPad apps to deliver the same functionality to those in ownership of the iPhone 5 and iPad 4. Despite Microsoft dragging its heels in rolling out this update, there's quite a noticeable difference in quality, so if you're a Skyper who just so happens to own a fourth-gen iPad or the iPhone 5, you'll want to pick up the updated Skype for iOS app right now from the App Store.

10 Reasons Why HTC One Is Better Than iPhone 5 [VIDEO]

Tom Richardson·August 12, 2013
Until Apple see fit to release of the next generation iPhone, which may be sooner than you think, the iPhone 5 is the hottest competition from the iOS camp for the Android flagships, the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4. For this reason, if anyone is wanting to pick up an iPhone 5 in the coming weeks, you may want to think on it just a little bit. From my experience with both the HTC One and the iPhone 5, both are incredibly capable devices, but there is certainly enough differences to bring you 10 reasons which top the One above the 5. These can be found in the video embedded at the end of this post.
