iPhone Duo Vs iPad mini Size Comparison

Here’s Apple iPhone Duo Vs iPad mini side-by-side size comparison that you may want to check out.

Apple unveiled the new iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone, during its September 9 event alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

It has a 5.4-inch display on the outside and a 7.6-inch foldable display inside. That means that the iPhone Duo is similar in screen size to the iPad mini’s 7.9-inch display.

But display sizes only tell part of the story, so it was interesting to see one Apple Park event attendee compare the iPhone Duo’s physical size with that of the iPad mini. They then posted a video of the comparison on the X social network.

While the iPad mini is clearly the larger device, the size difference may not be all that big for people who would rather carry a single device instead of two.

Physically, the iPhone Duo measures 117.8 x 164.6 x 5.2 mm when unfolded, while the iPad mini measures 195.4 x 134.8 x 6.3 mm. The iPhone Duo is a thinner device than the iPad mini, something that might make a notable difference to how it feels in the hand.

Also worth noting is the fact that the iPhone Duo has a significantly better display than the iPad mini’s IPS LCD panel. The foldable OLED display found in the iPhone Duo is brighter (500 nits vs 3,000 nits) and has a faster 120Hz variable refresh rate.
