The wave of iPhone 6-related rumors has been incessant, but with just a short while to go until the purported announcement, we're starting to get wind of some solid / confirmed reports from reliable sources. We've clapped eyes on the iPhone 6's rear shell umpteen times since the details of the revised form factor began to emerge, but a new, high-quality leak gets really up close and personal with this particular component.

Apple's iPhone 6 is apparently being unveiled on September 9th, and although we'd gathered plenty of details already, we've now got some unofficial confirmation of several key features. It's naturally assumed, given the A7 processor of the iPhone 5s, that Apple will bundle an improved A8 chip into the next handset, and along with improved Wi-Fi and Touch ID, this will definitely be the case.

Apple's iPhone 6 is easily the most eagerly-anticipated handset of the year, and while most smartphones get their fair share of leaks and such, the forthcoming iPhone has been speculated on for the best part of six months.
