Download: macOS 27 Golden Gate RC For Mac Released

Apple’s macOS 27 Golden Gate software update is closer than ever to being released to the public later this month. Now, developers can download the first Release Candidate update via either the OTA method.

This new beta is likely to be the same as the final release, assuming that no big issues are discovered between now and the go-live date.

Developers should download the new RC now and make sure that their apps work as expected ahead of the official macOS 27 Golden Gate release. We also expect a version of the same update to be made available for those on the public beta program.

Apple has been releasing new macOS 27 betas regularly ever since it announced the update at WWDC in June. The final release is expected to be made available to the public within days.

Those looking to download the new Release Candidate on their Macs can do so via the System Settings app, making sure they are signed in with their Apple Developer account. Those registered with the Apple Public Beta Program can follow similar steps when the update is released to that group, too.

Apple has also released new Release Candidate updates for its other software updates, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and more.
