Ben Reid·January 13, 2015
Remote desktop apps are not uncommon, particularly given the increasing display sizes of smartphones and tablets, and last year, Google introduced Chrome Remote Desktop for Android. The app, as you might imagine, enables Android users to connect to their PC or Mac remotely, and so far, has garnered rave reviews from users. Given the successful release for Android, the Big G has now opted to deliver the experience to those on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and we've got all of the details, as well as the download link of Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS under one roof.

Almost One Billion Users Are At Risk Due To Android’s Lack Of Security Updates

Ben Reid·January 13, 2015
Google's Android gets plenty of unwanted recognition for attracting malware, but given that it's used by more than one billion of the world's population while being famously open source, it's an inevitability that comes with the territory. The search company behind the ubiquitous mobile software faces a constant battle to ensure that security holes are fixed, bugs are squished and malicious attacks are thwarted, we're led to believe, yet according to a new report, the Big G has stopped pushing WebView updates that may leave some 900 million users susceptible to attack.

Google's answer to Apple's AirPlay was the Chromecast, but that feature was only applicable to all things video and a dedicated audio casting service was missing. Zayed Rehman·December 27, 2014
Another music album has gone free on Google Play, and this time it's the soundtrack to Frozen - the hit animated movie from Disney that became the highest-grossing film ever till date, and had every kid who saw it humming that infectious "Let It Go" musical score. The rest of the tracks were nothing short of spectacular either.

Google Unveils The Full And Final Version Of its Driverless Car [Photo]

Oliver Haslam·December 23, 2014
Google has been working on its driverless cars for quite some time now and if you happen to have been on the right street in California at the right time then you might have even seen one of the prototypes doing the rounds. If you'd looked really closely you would have spotted a rather ashen-faced human babysitting it, too. But the worst kept secret of it all was that Google didn't have any fully automated cars to call its own. That's now changed, with Google producing a prototype that has all the usual functionality that you might expect from an automobile. That means it starts, stops and turns corners, then. It's the stopping part we're most interested in at this point though, if we're totally honest!
