Although iPhone 3GS has a commendable 3.2 megapixel camera, but apart from very basic camera functionality, you can hardly do anything special with it. But then as they says that there is an app for just about anything on the iPhone, so is the case with this app as well. A new app by the name of Security Cam has just been approved which enables iPhone users to use their iPhone as security (or should I say spy?) camera.

Due to its killer user interface and ease of use, many iPhone users have been able to at least semi-replace their notebooks or netbooks with their beloved iPhone’s. However, right from its inception, easier text entries on the Apple’s smartphone has been the desire of many. This could currently be only achieved on a jailbroken iPhone by connecting a bluetooth keyboard via BTStack app from Cydia. But now, ION, a leader in consumer audio and entertainment technology has announced iTYPE, the world’s first desktop keyboard designed exclusively for iPhone.
The are a number of rumored reports around the web, suggesting a possible announcement of Microsoft Courier Tablet like Slate tablet PC tonight during Steve Ballmer’s opening keynote at 2010 CES. If this happens, then we could very well have a Slate/Tablet PC, running Microsoft software well ahead of Apple’s rumored iSlate/Tablet, which is expected to be unveiled on January 27th, in Apple’s mega event to be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
After weeks of rumors, gossips, leaks and revelations, the much hyped Nexus One (aka the Google Phone) has finally been unveiled today in a press event ceremony held at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California. Powered by Android 2.1 operating system, the Google Nexus One features 3.7’’ AMOLED screen, 1Ghz Snapdragon processor with 512mb of Ram and 5 megapixels autofocus camera with flash. The phone has been designed by Google and is manufactured through their partner HTC.
Apple in the recent past introduced an amazing and rather sensational product called Magic Mouse which introduced iPhone style multitouch gestures for Macs. Later on, some folks managed to hack the Boot Camp drivers of Magic Mouse to make it unofficially run on PCs running any version of Windows from XP to 7.
Snappy camera app for jailbroken iPhone has got an update! The new version 2.0 adds much needed support of video recording for iPhone 3GS. Also added is the support for MMS for MMS enabled devices, option for Geo tagging, faster image writing, more capable device orientation and various other bug fixes.
One thing which is missing big-time from the iPhone is the ability to copy/save contacts to and from the SIM card. But again as they say: ‘on the iPhone, there is an app for just about anything’. A user at the apfeltalk forums from Germany had ordered an iPhone 3G from Apple and that was what exactly he was expecting to be shipped. To his surprise, the handset received was indeed a iPhone 3G 8 GB but the packaging in which it was contained indicated something else. Interestingly, it was marked with iPhone 3GS 8GB label, instead of iPhone 3G.

They designed an app for iPhone and created a system for the launcher by running customized version of Windows CE 6 on eBox 2300, on which the orientation, deviation and firing control of missile was possible using the iPhone.
A little while ago, Digitimes has published a story stating Foxconn's screen division Innolux, to supply Apple with a 10-inch screen for its upcoming Tablet. It has further added that the panels are being strength treated by G-Tech Optoelectronics, also a division of Foxconn. Concurrently, Macrumors is quoting Taiwan's Economic Daily paper, stating that Cheng Uei Precision Industry today has received an order for "connectors" for Apple's new tablet computer.
