How's your iPhone 4S release day going so far? Did you get the iPhone you wanted, were you disappointed, or did you decide to skip this release entirely? Some people had decided that the iPhone 4S just wasn't a huge enough leap over their existing iPhones, to warrant the considerable outlay that would be needed if they were to bite the bullet and jump to an iPhone 4S.

We're now firmly into the iPhone 4S's launch day now, and some countries are even already out of it. It's been a day of elation, disappointment and downright anger, depending on which Apple, AT&T or any other store you happened to be (un)fortunate enough to be queuing outside.
As if there weren't enough apps and operating system updates already today, Apple also pushed a new version of its web browser, Safari, into the public domain. Coming packaged as part of the OS X Lion 10.7.2 update as well as being available as a separate download, Safari 5.1.1 features a host of new updates and changes, with iCloud support front and center.
It's finally here folks, today is the when Apple has flipped the switch on iOS 5, and millions upon millions of iPhones, iPads and iPod touches are in the process of being updated to the latest and greatest mobile operating system to come out of Cupertino.

More specifically, it's all about why the iPhone's screen is still 3.5-inches across its diagonal, while most Android, and even Windows Phone 7 (ultimate special super duper series edition 7) handsets are sporting ever increasing screen dimensions.
It seems Apple isn't the only company that can't keep its new smartphones under wraps without one finding its way to a stranger, via some form of bar. Now, Google and Samsung are getting in on the leaking-act, with a new, shiny Nexus Prime/Galaxy Nexus finding its way into the wrong hands.
