Oliver Haslam has written about technology for over a decade. His work has been published in print at Macworld and online pretty much everywhere else. If it plugs in or has a battery, it's fair game.
Apple's iPhone is already the most popular camera out there, thanks to the fact that not only is it actually a pretty decent shooter from the iPhone 4 onwards, but it tends to be the camera you always have with you. That makes it both convenient and useful.
As people who find themselves taking screenshots of apps almost every day, and then uploading them to various online hosting sites and social networks, not to mention Redmond Pie, we're often left scrambling around trying to add a watermark to our work. It's a necessary evil of the online world, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
If there is one thing we like at Redmond Pie, it's iOS gaming. We're not sure if it's the feel of that oleo-phobic screen in our sweaty hands, or the fact that iOS games fit just nicely with out goldfish-like attention spans, but we do love us an iPhone game. Or iPad, for that matter.
If you've ever set foot in an Apple Store, the chances are you've experienced the hugely irritating situation of knowing exactly what you want to buy – often having it in your sweaty little hands at the time – but being unable to get hold of a store employee to ring it up for you.
People take privacy on Facebook very, very seriously, and for good reason. You don't want people seeing things that you thought were private, or a larger group of people seeing something that you though was only visible to a select few.
We've said it before, and we're not afraid to say it again and if required, once more. Notification Center is quite possibly one of the most important additions to iOS since multitasking and, ironically, it's also one of the most underused aspects of Apple's latest release.
What's better than one iPad? Well, two iPads, of course! What's better than two iPads? Two iPads and a case – a case that helps children is even better than any of that, and that's just what we have here!
If there's been one polarizing feature of iOS 5, beyond the Notification Center that just won't stop notifying, and a battery issue that drains juice faster than a 4G Android phone, it's the lack of an iPod app.
There are three things that are guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and a new iPhone suffering poor battery life.
Reports of less than stellar iPhone 4S battery life have been circulating for the last couple of weeks now, with early adopters once again acting like guinea pigs for those clever enough to hold of buying the latest and greatest tech toys.
