Apple’s New iMac, iPad Pro, And Apple TV 4K Appear To Be Launching On May 21

Apple looks set to make its new iMac, iPad Pro, and Apple TV 4K ready for sale on May 21. That’s according to multiple sources including Jon Prosser as well as UK retailer John Lewis.

Apple announced the new products during its Spring Loaded event a couple of weeks ago and said that they would all be available in the second half of May.

There was no further explanation of what day that would actually be, although we’re now hearing that May 21 looks set to be the big day.

Leaker Jon Prosser has previously said that the 11-inch iPad Pro would launch on May 22 with the 12.9-inch version arriving a day earlier.

As noticed by 9to5Mac, UK retailer John Lewis is now listing the new iMac as being available from May 21, too.

Also, source code of Apple’s Newsroom press release in UK, points to May 21.

The updated iMac will ship in multiple colors and feature Apple’s M1 chip for the first time. The new iPad Pro will also make use of the M1 chip, bringing the desktop processor over to the iPad for the first time.

The updated Apple TV 4K will use Apple’s A12 chip, while a new Siri Remote will also benefit from a redesign to make it more user friendly.
