Apple TV+ Free Trial Period Extended Yet Again

And just like that, Apple has one again extended its Apple TV+ free trial duration for new hardware owners, this time, ending on July 2021.

Apple has been extending this free trial duration for some time now starting October 2020, especially citing the coronavirus pandemic and trying to give a little back to the society. So if you took advantage of the 1-year free deal when the service was first launched, you now get a further 9 months free service.

Those whose free trial period was about to end on February 2020, will have their free trial renewed for another 6 months. Most importantly, if you have an annual subscription set to expire between February and June, will be able to take advantage of this as well and no charges will me made towards their account.

And just as it happened before, compensation will be made to existing subscribers in the form of credit refunds. So if you have paid for your subscription starting January 15, $4.99 will be credited to your App Store account for the Feb. to Jun. period.

Of course the same holds true if you’re currently paying for the Apple One service bundle as well.

As Apple TV+ expands its content library, these free trial extensions are giving the Mac-maker enough time to get its targeted audience hooked to the service, but there’s also the fact that Apple is generously giving back to the public.
