Apple To Release iPhone XS In Additional Countries With iPhone XR Launch

iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be available in additional countries and territories starting this coming October 26th. After the initial hardware launch earlier this month, the Cupertino-based fruit company is expanding its reach with a phased rollout into additional locations later this month, and beyond.

It seems that Apple is using the same pre-order date for iPhone XR to start accepting orders for iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in four new countries.

Starting October 19th at 12:01 am PT, Tim Cook’s company will offer iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max for pre-order in Chile, Colombia, Thailand, and Malaysia. Those pre-orders will be available alongside the initial pre-order availability of iPhone XR, and will start shipping into the aforementioned countries on October 26th at 08:00 am PT.

Following on from the date, both of those OLED-based devices will then be made available in South Korea and an additional 10 countries starting from Friday, November 2nd. This release schedule shows that Apple is not only intending to get the iPhone XS and XS Max in as many hands as possible on a global scale but that the business is also ramping up availability ahead of the extremely lucrative festive holiday shopping season that we are about to move into. This move and release roadmap should ensure that both of these high-end devices are available in at least 15 additional countries over the next 4-6 weeks.

In addition to iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max being pushed out into more countries, Apple is also going to start flooding the market with the 6.1-inch Liquid Retina iPhone XR. That device will be available for an initial pre-order process this coming October 19th and will start shipping one week later on October 26th in the United States and an additional 50-plus countries globally. In short, consumers should be perfectly placed to welcome some new iPhone hardware into their lives in the next few weeks, regardless of where they are based in the world.

From a hardware perspective, consumers will have the choice to choose from iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, all of which present different positives and negatives depending on the viewpoint that you take. Whichever you choose or opt for, there should be plenty of availability in the coming weeks and months.
