Apple Offers Free Books As Part Of Its “Stay At Home” Collection

With more and more people finding themselves unable to leave their homes thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Apple Books has made a ton of free books available to users. A push notification was sent out to users informing them of the new offer.

From what we’re reading it seems like most genres are covered by this offer including tons of books for kids. There are audiobooks thrown in as well, perfect for settling down to as a family when there’s simply nothing left to do but stare at the walls. We’ve all been there!

This whole offer is clearly aimed at making life a little more bearable for those who are left house-bound thanks to social distancing. That’s a situation that is surely only going to get worse in the coming weeks and, potentially, months. With that in mind, it’s great to see Apple stepping up and helping families alleviate some of the boredom that goes hand in hand with being stuck at home.

Now, if Apple wants to start handing out TV shows and Movies, too, that would be very much appreciated!

Apple has taken other steps to help with the coronavirus pandemic, too. All of its stores are currently closed to make it more difficult for the virus to spread, although those in Greater China remain open.
