All M1 iMac Wallpapers Are Part Of The macOS Big Sur 11.3 Download, Here’s How To Use Them

Apple’s newly redesigned iMac is now available for pre-order with hardware expected to arrive within a week or two. The new iMacs come in a range of interesting colors and that means there are some new wallpaper designs to go with them.

And it turns out those wallpapers are all available as part of the macOS Big Sur 11.3 download.

Shared by MacRumors, the wallpapers that are included have all been used as part of Apple’s promotional artwork for the new iMac and they all come in various colors. They’re versions of the infamous “hello” text that accompanied the first Mac, not that you’d know that to look at them. Regardless, they’re pretty easy to get your hands on.

Step 1: Open System Preferences and click on Desktop & Screensaver.

Step 2: Double click on Desktop Pictures to open its folder.

Step 3: Scroll down to find images labeled Hello.

Step 4: Drag the image onto your desktop or other location on your Mac.

Step 5: Right-click on the image and select “Set Desktop Picture”.

That’s all there is to it!

Now you can get that brand new iMac look without having to actually buy a new iMac. The new wallpapers won’t give you that powerful M1 chip, unfortunately.
