iPhone 13 Will Include An Always-On 120Hz Display And More According To New Report

The iPhone 13 lineup, likely to launch towards the end of this year, will include a new always-on 120Hz ProMotion display, according to a new report. We can expect new camera features related to taking photos of the stars while a new finish and stronger MagSafe are also said to be on the way.

This all comes via YouTuber EverythingApplePro which got the information from leaker Max Weinbach.

According to the video the big new change will be the inclusion of a 120Hz panel that will also include support for an always-on feature for the first time. That could allow Apple Watch-like complications to be displayed on-screen at all times alongside the date and time.

That’s a feature some Android phones have had for years and it’s also something we’d love to see come to the iPhone. The 120Hz panel is also something that’s been rumored before and is looking increasingly likely for a 2021 launch.

The report also says that Apple is working on adding astrophotography features similar to those offered by some Android phones, while a strong MagSafe connection is also thought to be in the works. That should allay any fears relating to accessories being pulled off the back of iPhones too easily. A new rear panel that’s thought to be more grippy is also rumored.

We’re still a good eight or nine months away from these new iPhones being released so there’s plenty of time for more leaks to appear. So far though, the iPhone 13 is shaping up to be a good update to last year’s models.
