Download: FRAMED Interactive Puzzle Book Is Apple’s Free iOS App Of The Week [$5 Value]

While the iOS world is abuzz with the announcement and a beta release of iOS 11, and that there’s an all-new App Store bundled with it, some things from Apple continue to excite us every week. As part of Apple’s Free App of the Week promotion, we have a title which usually retails for $4.99 being made available to download for absolutely free till next Thursday.

Called FRAMED and coming from developer Loveshack, it is an award-winning interactive puzzle book, “where you re-arrange panels of an animated comic book to change the outcome of the story.”

The App Store is jam-packed with an array of action, adventure, puzzle games and so much more, but seldom do we come across comic-styled interactive books with a  noir theme to it. The developer tells us that the title is “Effortlessly Elegant”: “Unlike anything you’ve played before, FRAMED delivers a completely new type of game experience. Plug in your headphones, sit back and enjoy!”

That’s not all though, the art and the animation in the title is all “hand-crafted”. Of course, no title is complete without a spanking soundtrack to go with it. FRAMED packs an original jazz score to keep you involved as you “grab comic panels and swap them with a touch of your finger!”

An evocative music score featuring live jazz performances fused with modern themes and beats sets the mood.

For those wondering whether this is the the kind of title they would want to dive into or not, well, it’s a $5 game being made available as a free download, and with its mutiple awards in different departments, it’s definitely worth checking out.
