You Can Download The Sims 4 For Free On Mac, PC Right Now, Here’s How

If you’re a fan of The Sims, it’s your lucky day because EA is giving away The Sims 4 for the Mac and PC. The game normally sells for around $40, but right now, it’s being given away for absolutely nothing.

To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to download the game via the Origin platform by May 28th. If you manage that, you’ll save yourself a cool $40, which isn’t to be sniffed at.

The Sims 4 has been around for a good few years now after arriving back in 2014. But thanks to numerous expansion packs and add-ons that have been released the game has gone from strength to strength. In fact, it’s those add-ons and expansions that are likely the driving force behind the game being given away for free. We suspect EA is hoping people pick a couple of those up, seeing as they aren’t paying for the game itself.

Enjoy the power to create and control people in a virtual world where there are no rules. Express your creativity as you customize your Sims’ distinct appearances and unique personalities. Choose their fashions, select their hairstyles, and give them life aspirations. Effortlessly build your Sims the perfect homes with the all-new room-based Build Mode, choosing your favorite designs and décor. Develop your Sims’ relationships, pursue new careers, and shape the rich and entertaining moments of their lives. Explore beautiful worlds with unique environments and travel to neighborhoods where you can visit venues and meet other interesting Sims. Be powerful and free, have fun, and play with life!

To get your free game you’ll need to download the game after visiting the Origin web site or launching the Origin app and choosing the Get it Free button when viewing The Sims 4. You’ll get a copy of the standard game for your troubles, although again, you can always add some extra longevity by picking up some of the additional packs.
