This Cydia Tweak Shares What You Are Listening To On iPod App In iPhone, iPad, iPod touch With Your Friends On Facebook

Part of the world’s love of music is sharing new tracks and albums with friends, bringing new musical discoveries along with it. With our always-connected lives and always-on devices sharing musical tastes is easier than ever, and with a new jailbreak tweak you can let your Facebook friends in on your latest favorite track.

Called NowPlaying and developed by Moseth, this tweak is available via the BigBoss repository in Cydia, the tweak actually adds a new feature to the iOS Facebook app you already have.

Now, when listening to music just hit the status update button inside Facebook and you’ll notice a new logo shaped like a pair of headphones. Tapping this button tags the song you’re listening using the now universal #NowPlaying hashtag.

It’s free, it’s easy and it’s ingenious.

You will, of course, need to have a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to install it. Follow our step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with Redsn0w on iOS 4.2.1 (or untethered with GreenPois0n RC5), or with Limera1n on iOS 4.1, or on iOS 4.3.1 with Redsn0w, PwnageTool 4.3 (untethered | tethered), or with Sn0wbreeze on Windows, or on iOS 4.3.2 with Redsn0w, PwnageTool 4.3 (tethered), or with Sn0wbreeze on Windows, or on iOS 4.3.3 using Redsn0w, PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch if you haven’t already.
