Oliver Haslam·April 30, 2013
With the iPad and iPhone being so popular amongst a worldwide audience, many have questioned Apple's long term interest in the Mac, as well as OS X. With the Mac Pro long overdue an update and Apple seemingly more interested in its iOS devices than its OS X ones. How To Take Screenshots On Mac OS X

Paul Morris·March 21, 2013
Capturing a screenshot on a Windows based PC is an easy affair. You can either hit the “PrtScr” button and paste it in an image editor of your choice, or, if you’re using Windows 8, then you can press the Windows + PrtScr key combinations to snap a screenshot, in addition to the Snipping Tool. More details after the jump.

New Apple Job Posting Suggests Siri Could Be Coming To OS X 10.9

Paul Morris·February 6, 2013
Apple's range of iPhone, iPad and Mac hardware generates significant interest and revenue for the company, but there is also an extremely healthy interest in the software that leaves through the company's Cupertino doors and ends up on our digital shelves. The company's iOS firmware has been top of the discussion agenda over the last few weeks for various reasons, but we mustn't forget the recent speculation and interest surrounding the next-generation of Mac OS X. We are under no illusion that Apple will manage to blindside us with certain aspects of OS X 10.9, but it seems that the current recruitment drive for interface engineers is suggesting that Apple's next desktop OS could come bundled with the Siri digital assistant, as mentioned before as well.

Paul Morris·January 7, 2013
OS X Mountain Lion may have only been publicly available for the last five months or so, but according to statistics and analytics; it has quickly managed to claw itself to the top to become the most popular Mac operating system which Apple has ever released. Mountain Lion was released in July of 2012 with the philosophies of being a fully functional desktop operating system that took more than a little inspiration from iOS running on an iPad. The intention seemed to be to usher in the beginning of a new era that would see OS X and iOS become increasingly more converged over time.

Ben Reid·December 31, 2012
It's been an extremely hectic year in the digital industry, but if you cast your mind back to January, you may fondly remember the Mr. Android infographic. Provided courtesy of BlueStacks, it offered detailed information (as well as something of a visual representation) of your typical Android user, and ensuring the lonely singleton doesn't see the new year tick over without a suitor, BlueStacks has come through with Ms. Mac. Naturally, Ms. Mac has a very obvious Apple bent, and represents all sorts of weird and wonderful information - gathered by BlueStacks - of the average Mac user.
