iPhone 4 / HD with Aluminum Unibody Concept

M Asad·April 1, 2010
Since the introduction of iPhone (EDGE) in 2007, Apple remained the unipolar champion of the smartphone world. But its unchallenged supremacy has now been challenged by other stalwarts like Google’s Android, and the upcoming Windows Phone 7 Series by Microsoft. It will be obligatory for Apple to bring some innovative changes to the device and it just cannot afford the luxury of cooling its heels. In the meanwhile, Android continues to gather momentum, and whereas it lacks iPhone's content and elegance, yet it has started matching Apple in terms of features.

iPhone HD Specs: A4 CPU, 940×640 Resolution, Front Camera and Multitasking

Taimur Asad·March 30, 2010
John Gruber of Daring Fireball has added his thoughts on the “Verizon iPhone” report which was published by WSJ earlier today. According to him, the next-generation iPhone will feature an iPad like 940 x 640 resolution display, an A4 CPU chip (again like iPad) and a front facing camera for video conferencing. He also confirmed multitasking in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0. This is what he had to say about Wall Street Journal’s report.

Next Generation iPhone 4G Spotted in the Wild

M Asad·November 29, 2009
While consulting a PinchMedia Analytics report, Pandav, the developer of iBart (a public transportation guide for the San Francisco train system) had a very pleasant surprise to learn today which he then reported to MacRumors, suggesting that his app has been installed and used on a device that identifies itself as “iPhone 3,1″. It may be noted that exactly in the same time frame last year, Apple was discovered testing its iPhone 3GS (which is identified as “iPhone 2,1”) in the San Francisco Bay area. Infact by calculations, it can be concluded that if the next generation phone is to be launched in the traditional summer time frame, then it is about time for Apple to conduct wild field tests for the upcoming iPhone.
