Square Enix – the creators behind the worlds most popular RPG game has released few screenshots of Final Fantasy from the iPhone version of the said game. The Appera site, which has got hold of these screenshots has confirmed that Final Fantasy 1 and 2 are both finally headed to the iPhone platform. Though the price and release date of the game is unconfirmed at the moment.

PreBrowser is a web browsing application for jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch which has been inspired by the web browser in Palm Pre. PreBrowser runs in full screen with tabs which gives it a look and feel from Palm Pre. The main UI of the app is plain and simple, with only one single “menu” button to go on the top left. Clicking on “view tabs” presents a beautiful cover flow like mode for all the opened tabs in the browser.

In past, we have seen iPhone being made to use in situations such as driving vehicles, controlling robots and so much more, but none a special than launching a missile. Yes, a small group of students have managed to control a missile through their iPhone that commands and controls a small rocket launcher in pre and post firing conditions. They designed an app for iPhone and created a system for the launcher by running customized version of Windows CE 6 on eBox 2300, on which the orientation, deviation and firing control of missile was possible using the iPhone.
