Finally the wait is over, the most anticipated version of the iPad, the iPad 3G, has hit all Apple Stores across the US. Grab yours now before they’re all sold out.
According to the sources at TechCrunch, HP has dropped Windows 7 + Intel based hardware for its ambitious tablet project because “It’s too power hungry”. This news, which is yet to be confirmed by HP comes only a few hours after it was confirmed that Microsoft Courier Tablet wont see the light of day.
Well it now looks like Geohot is not going to release his jailbreaking bits for the iPhone and iPad anytime soon. According to some of his recent tweets, his tools are not ready for primetime use yet. What this probably means now is that he is not going to release blackra1n for untethered iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreak (as previously thought), iPhone OS 4 and iPad before the next-iPhone is out this summer.
Apple has just released iTunes 9.1.1 for both Windows and Mac. This is a minor release for stability and bug fixes which addresses issues like problems in “converting songs to 128 kbps AAC while syncing”, “stability issues with VoiceOver ”, and various other bug fixes.

According to a recent report from Digitimes, Apple has started developing the next-generation iPad and that it will be using OLED screen technology for the display panels. The panels used are said to be same as the ones used in next-gen iPhone 4G.
