Pixelmator Photo Update Adds iPadOS 13 Support, Batch Editing, More

Pixelmator Photo has today received an update to add support for iPadOS 13.1. It also adds other new features including a new workflow and batch editing tools.

If you’re a big Pixelmator Photo user, then this is definitely your lucky day. As part of this update, you can now directly import images from a camera or external storage device, right into the app. No more pushing images into the Photos app and then taking them back out again.

Pixelmator Photo 1.1 is here! It brings support for iPadOS 13, incredibly powerful batch photo editing, an all-new and much-improved image management workflow (no more importing!), image resizing and, of course, a wide range of additional improvements and fixes.

If you do want to keep things in your photo library, that’s not a problem either. You can work directly with those files without having to create duplicates. Batch editing can also be applied to images, so you won’t need to make the same adjustments to photos one-by-one anymore. If you want to edit hundreds of photos in one sitting, this can be a real time-saver.

This newly updated version includes other changes, including those for different file formats and image sizes, too.

You can download the newly updated Pixelmator Photo from the App Store now. It’s free if you already have the app, with everyone else paying $4.99. It’s an absolute bargain at that price, too.
