Philips Hue White Bulbs Down To $10 Apiece For Limited Time [Usually $15]

Smart homes are pretty awesome, but they can be a pretty costly exercise if you’re starting out from scratch. Smart bulbs are probably the easiest way of getting started but they can be pretty costly, too. Right now, they don’t have to be, with Philips Hue White bulbs currently available for just $10 apiece.

While it’s true that you can indeed get bulbs that change the color or warmth of light on your command, we all know that not every room in the home needs to do that. Sometimes you just want to be able to turn a light on or off, and that’s where these bulbs come into play. The bad news is you’ll still need a Philips Hue Hub to get everything working, but if you’re adding these to an existing setup, you’re golden.

Buy: Philips Hue White A19 Single LED Bulb Works with Amazon Alexa (Hue Hub Required): $10 | Original price: $15

Philips Hue can make it seem like you’re home when you’re not, using the schedule function in the Philips Hue app. Set the smart bulbs to come on at a pre-set time, so the lights are on when you arrive home. You can even set rooms to light up at different times.

We’ve long been pretty big fans of the Philips Hue ecosystem, despite a price that few would argue is cheap. Sometimes in life, you get what you pay for, however, and we think the Philips Hue bulbs are a great example of that. If you don’t need lights that change color on a whim, you can absolutely pick some of these up and be very happy with your purchase indeed.

Don’t take too long picking them up, though. We don’t expect this price to be around forever.
