Windows Mobile 6.5 (or 6.5.3) Build 28002 is out already and it finally brings a new native on-screen keyboard which is optimized for more finger friendly touch operations. Windows Mobile OEMs like HTC, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have already been shipping their newer handsets with skinned version of the original stylus-friendly keyboard for finger friendly navigation. But now from Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Build 28002 and onwards, Microsoft has finally updated the age old on-screen virtual keyboard that has been a feature of Windows phones since Pocket PC’s era.

iPhone 3GS certainly is the most popular and hottest phone out there is, and with Sony Ericsson set to launch their Android based Xperia X10 in February next year, stage is all set for a yet another battle between an Android set with iPhone. We were obviously excited when Sony Ericsson officially unveiled the specs for Xperia X10, and so we just couldn't resist, but to perform a head-to-head comparison between Xperia X10 and its contemporary, the iPhone 3GS. If you have a jailbroken iPhone, with an unchanged SSH password, there is a high chance that your security can be compromised by any of the iPhone worms out there. The easiest thing one can do to secure his or her jailbroken iPhone is to change the default root password or by disabling SSH entirely. Apple’s spokesperson Natalie Harrison today offered following comments regarding all these recent iPhone worm attacks.
A camera defect was earlier reported by the early adopters of HTC HD2 in which a pink hue spot was noticed in the centre of all the pictures taken from the 5 MP autofocus camera on HTC HD2. HTC earlier had confirmed it as a hardware issue and asked the effected owners to contact their reseller to exchange the defected handset with a new one. The pinkish hue spot in question can be seen clearly in the screenshot attached below.
Verizon with its “iDont, Droid Does” advertising campaign has been ruthlessly targeting Apple iPhone, including Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs personally with its recent ad in Sports Illustrated magazine last week. These Droid ads clearly shows how desperate Verizon is to pitch its phones against the mighty iPhone. The Big ‘V’ has got the two Droid phones and is trying too hard to promote them. How far this ad war is going to benefit them is a bit too early to comment on. But one thing that we all were sure off was that Apple is going to respond to them sooner rather than later.

Just a couple of days ago, we warned you about a worm which turned into a mobile botnet, infecting thousands of jailbroken iPhone users worldwide. According to the latest report posted by Mashable, this malicious worm in question has now been identified by the name of Ikee.B or Duh virus, and it is of the same variant as the original Ikee virus which was created by an Aussie. The only difference here is that Ikee.B is far more dangerous like iPhone/Privacy.A virus, and it is spreading rapidly, infecting thousands of jailbroken iPhone users in Australia, Netherlands, Hungary, Portugal, Brazil and other countries.
Multifl0w is an iPhone app which allows switching between applications running in background in a beautiful Palm Pre style cover flow-like mode. It will basically act as a graphical extension to the already popular app from Cydia called Backgrounder to present all opened apps in a tabbed view, similar to the view seen on Mobile Safari. The combination of Multifl0w and Backgrounder will be a treat to have for power users who wants to run multiple apps at the same time on the iPhone. There are times when you would suddenly like to instantaneously capture a scene or a nearby happening with your iPhone but the time available to take such shots is always limited. One normally misses out these precious moments when trying to capture them through iPhone using the native Camera app because of the time the built-in camera app takes in starting, taking picture and then closing. First time that we warned you about was when a Dutch hacker tried to access jailbroken iPhones through SSH in his native country Netherlands. He offered remedy for 5 Euros. Another attempt was by Ikee, an Australian, who was successful in injecting a worm into jailbroken iPhone’s whose users had forgot to change their root password for SSH. This worm ikee, however, did not cause any harm to the victim’s iPhone, but it laid a foundation for another worm that could harm iPhone users indefinitely.
