Google officially unveiled the much hyped Nexus One phone to public on January 5th. Those of you who were lucky enough to live in US, UK, Hong Kong or Singapore could immediately order the said phone and have it shipped within 24-48 hours of purchase. Most of the international users were left out in cold, wondering where and how could they get their hands on this new Android handset.

It was only last month when we informed you about an emulation software named Haret which enabled Windows phones to run Android OS side by side with Windows Mobile 6.x. But now, folks over at XDA forums have released a more stable version of Android OS for HTC Touch HD – which was one of the most popular Windows Mobile based device before HD2 dropped in.

A new Build 14.0.4730.1007 of Office 2010 has been leaked by WZOR, a site infamously known for many leaked builds of Windows 7 during its testing stages. While the stuff which is new to this build is not known yet, but a new EULAID:O14_RTM_VL.1_RTM_EN, shown in “Microsoft Software License Terms” indicates that Office 2010 may probably have internally entered RTM branch.
iPhone Theme Simulator is a neat little tool which enables you to test and design your themes for Winterboard app right on Windows PC or Mac without having to load it up each time on the iPhone just to test it. For those of you who don't know, Winterboard is a free app available in Cydia which enables you to customize the appearance of your jailbroken iPhone in almost anyway you like.
In just under a week of official release, Nexus One has already got custom cooked ROMs waiting to be flashed on the said handset. Paul over at the Modaco forums has released one of the first custom ROM for Nexus One which packs a custom kernel, and includes busybox, nano 2.09, parted and sqlite tools, Wireless Tethering option (Yay!), titanium backup and more.
We informed you about the Google Nexus One when it was rooted even before the official launch. And now with just under a week of release, Nexus One has been hacked already to enable both wireless and wired (via usb) tethering option in Android 2.1. Folks over at the XDA forums have released some add-ons, which needs to be flashed over the top of the existing Android 2.1 firmware to get it to work.
Sn0wbreeze like blackra1n, redsn0w and PwnageTool is yet another jailbreaking tool for iPhone and iPod touch which can be used to create custom .ipsw files. But unlike the PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze is fully compatible to work with Windows 7/Vista and XP machines. If for some reason the earlier mentioned tools didn't work for you, you can give Sn0wbreeze a try and see if it helps in jailbreaking your iPhone with a custom .ipsw file.
