This iOS Widget Lets You Take Photos Without Launching Camera App [No Jailbreak Required]

Ben Reid·February 17, 2015
Even though Apple has, with iOS, sought to make it easy for us to capture photos and videos quickly before that Kodak Moment passes us by, there's always a bit of a delay, and it's the split-second wait while we open up the app, gather our composure, position the device and shoot, that can be the difference between a perfect, treasured snap and a blurred impression of the aftermath. The app we're featuring today has made a name for itself on Google's Android in the past for the speed in which it permits one to take photos, and with widget support also a part of the deal following the iOS 8 update, this is one tool that all amateur photographers should have in their armory.

Mysterious Apple Vehicle Caught On Video In Palo Alto Neighborhood

Ben Reid·February 17, 2015
Last week, it emerged that Apple may be working towards building its own iCar, although initially, it didn't seem as though self-driving capabilities would be part of this initiative. It was subsequently reported, however, that Apple could be set to rival Google in this capacity, and despite the small matter of the impending Apple Watch - touted as a game-changer in its own right - the tech world has certainly been taken aback by these revelations. Swiftly following on from last week's reports, a new video captures a notably strange-looking vehicle stalking residential areas of Palo Alto - strikingly similar to the one spotted in San Francisco - and while there's no way of confirming either way, it's being suggested that the minivan in question could have something to do with Apple's secretive venture.
