As Apple gears up for an influx of pre-orders of the Apple Watch from the 10th of April, it has now been revealed that reservations for in-store pickup will be limited to one per customer via the Reserve and Pickup service. Head over the jump to learn more about this new policy.
Set to launch this coming Friday, April 10th, the new 12-inch Retina MacBook was announced during the recent Spring Forward event at which Apple also released more details about the Apple Watch. Having been rumored as a potential new MacBook Air model, the notebook was instead given the MacBook moniker. The rumors of it having just one port were correct, however.

While the success of Apple Watch will mostly hang on the product itself, employees will also play a key role in proceedings. After all, it is many of they who will attempt to sell the product during the try-on sessions beginning in a few days' time, and even once this pre-order period has run its course, it seems certain that those working at Apple Stores will be essential in the company's attempt to grab a chunk of the wearable market. As a reward, Apple employees will enjoy a 50 percent discount on the lower-end Apple Watch variants, with a tidy $550 discount on the gold Watch Edition.
The Apple Watch is scheduled to go for pre-order later this week, with release slated a fortnight later on April 24th. The way Apple has gone about advertising and preparing for the device's roll out - with a two-week try-on period running at retail stores throughout the pre-order phase - it's clear that the company believes this product could be as big if not bigger than the iPhone was in 2007, and while some commentators have echoed these sentiments, there's plenty of contrasting skepticism.
