Pizza lovers can now order their pizza without ever getting out of the car thanks to an updated iPhone app that adds support for Apple CarPlay.
Apparently the first pizza company in the United States to offer such a feature, Domino’s has made it easier for people to order pizza than ever before.
What’s more, they can even set up a quick order feature that will place a favorite order with just a few taps. Domino’s outlines the possibilities CarPlay affords pizza fans in a its press release.
Customers have two ordering options via Domino’s app on CarPlay: “Tap to Order” or “Call to Order.” Tap to Order lets customers submit their saved Easy Order or one of their most recent orders, while “Call to Order” allows them to place the order of their choice, hands-free, by talking to a customer service representative.
All customers have to do to make use of the new CarPlay app is to make sure that they are using the latest version of the Domino’s app on their iPhone and then connect to CarPlay in their vehicle.
Domino’s also says that people can keep track of their pizza using the Domino’s Tracker right from CarPlay, meaning pizza fans will know exactly what part of the process their dinner is at any given moment.
