Official Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol Theme For Windows 7 Now Available For Download

To celebrate the release of Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol in cinemas worldwide, Microsoft has released a cool Windows 7 theme on a mission to spice up those bland, plain desktops.

Windows 7 Theme

The theme packs in four high-resolution wallpapers featuring Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and others in various scenes from the film.

From Microsoft:

Tom Cruise returns to try and save the Impossible Missions Force in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to download the free Windows 7 theme and get a glimpse of the action and adventure that you can expect in the film.

Without meaning to side-track,  film itself is actually very good – well worth the watch if you’re into action movies and or have seen the prequels. It breathes new life into the whole franchise with director Brad Bird doing a stellar job in his first ever live-action movie. But hey, you needn’t take my word for it; with a score of 7.8 on IMDB, you can’t really go wrong!

Please note, the Windows 7 theme can only be used in Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions. Then again, those using the crippled Starter edition will know what the score is, since not even the desktop background can be altered without some form of third-party software.

So if you’re a fan and are running Windows 7 on your PC, download the theme via the direct link below. Once you’ve downloaded, simply double-click on the file and it will quickly install.
