New Nike Apple Watch Bands Are Coming This Week, Here’s What They Look Like

If you’re an Apple Watch collector there is good news for you today, with Nike confirming that it will be offering three new colors in a few days, although you may need to be a Nike Plus member in order to get your hands on them.

Nike shared the news about its new Apple Watch bands via the Nike shopping app on the iPhone, rather than any sort of press release.

According to the understated announcement, Nike will be offering three new colors including Smokey Mauve and Celestial Teal version of its Sport Loop bands alongside an Olive Flak version of the Sport Band. The two Sport Loops bands will also feature the reflective materials that other Series 4 Sport Loop bands have, making them great options for use when our doing your sport thing in the dark.

Oddly, Nike isn’t making it obvious whether the new bands will be available as a single purchase or whether they will have to be bought with a new watch, but the promotional material does show the bands attacked to Apple Watches with color-matched watch faces, so we think it’s safe to assume the bands will only sell alongside watches, at least for now. That’s the case with all Nike+ Series 4 watches currently, too.

Nike has at least said when the new band options will be available, and that’s apparently Friday, November 16th via the Nike app and “exclusively in the Nike Plus Member Shop.” Membership is free.

The latest Sport Bands and reflective Sport Loops for your Apple Watch Nike+ pair well with fall — and with your favorite pair of running shoes. Get them exclusively in the Nike Plus Member Shop.

It looks like we’ll need to wait until Friday to find out just how these new bands will be sold.
