Major iPhone 13 Rumors: Matt Black And Orange Colors, Anti-Fingerprint Coating, More

Apple will launch the iPhone 13 lineup later this year and leaker Max Weinbach has had his say on what the new devices will offer up. Specifically, Weinbach says that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will come in a new matte black option.

The information, presented via YouTuber EverythingApplePro, includes the news that a new anti-fingerprint coating is being added to the iPhone 13 Pro’s metal chassis to help avoid smudges.

The report also suggests that Apple is experimenting with a new orange shade for the Pro lineup. Moreover, Portrait mode in particular is thought to be getting a rework thanks to a change in how the devices’ LiDAR Scanner will be used this time around.

We’re also told to expect new image stabilization capabilities as well as an astrophotography feature as has been rumored previously. We’ve also seen previous leaks suggesting the new iPhones will feature smaller notches than previous models – something today’s leak also reiterated.

All being well Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max during a media event in September. It remains to be seen whether that event will be a virtual one, however.
