iPhone 15 Pro Could Offer Up To 2TB Of Storage, Ditch 128GB Base For 256GB Model

If you’re choosing an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro this fall you might have a new maximum storage option to choose from.

That’s because a new report claims that Apple will offer its Pro-model iPhones in a new 2TB option for the first time, giving people more space than ever before.

That’s according to Korean blogger yeux1122, writing on Naver. According to them and their source, “the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Max models will have a new 2-tera option this time.”

9to5Mac also notes that one Weibo user has suggested that they hope that Apple will start the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models with a 256GB configuration option, replacing the 128GB starting point for current iPhones.

That would make sense in that it would allow Apple to add a 2TB maximum storage option while still only having four tiers in the lineup. Otherwise, it would have to deal with more SKU options across both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

The series will provide up to 2TB of storage space. Compared with the maximum storage, I hope the starting point is 256GB instead of 128GB. After all, the price has risen.

If correct, we can expect Apple to offer 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB iPhones for its high-end models starting when they go on sale next month. We’ve also heard rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will suffer from price increases, thought to be thanks to the new titanium construction.
