Here’s A Compilation Of Celebrities Caught Endorsing Competing Android Products Via iPhone

Celebrity placement of technology, especially smartphones, is certainly not something that is new for companies like Samsung and to a lesser extent, Apple. We all know that they do it and while Apple tends to prefer to seed things like iPhones and AirPods to celebrities so that they will be seen wearing and using them, things are a little different when it comes to most other companies.

We see celebrities taking to social media to shout from the rooftops about the latest big tech gadget often, but things aren’t always as simple as that.

The problems really start to crop up when celebrities, or more accurately their media people, post things to Twitter. This is because Twitter logs which client was used to post the tweet, which would be fine if people didn’t keep getting caught talking about their new Android phone when tweeting from “Twitter for iPhone.” Actor Gal Gadot is a prime example of someone falling foul of this relatively recently, but there have been so many more.

In fact, there have been so many examples of celebrity endorsements of products that have gone awry that a list has been compiled by H4xoloti. That list includes such leading lights as David Beckham, Kate Upton, and of course, the aforementioned Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot.

Quite how this consistently happens is beyond us, and we can imagine how people managed to find themselves in this position initially. But surely if your sole purpose was to get these things into the hands of celebrities in 2018, you would make absolutely sure they know to be more careful, right?

Right? Check the full compilation out. There may be some you didn’t already know about!
