Future iPad Pro Might Come With Landscape Cameras And Apple Logo

Apple might be getting ready to launch a future iPad Pro with a layout that’s more designed for use in Landscape mode than any other model.

The move would see the cameras move to a more landscape layout, while the Apple logo would also change orientation.

The rumor comes from Twitter user Dylankt which says the changes will come as part of a future iPad Pro. This particular leaker has a relatively strong history, although it’s always important to take these kinds of reports with a grain of salt.

Apple’s iPads are generally used in landscape more often by people who connect them to keyboards, while portrait mode is best for reading websites and books.

Apple has pushed the iPad Pro as a notebook replacement for the last few years, leaving some to wonder why it hasn’t leaned into that more by changing the Apple logo’s orientation. That might finally happen if this report is accurate.

Apple’s iPad Pro has already had its 2022 refresh reported on by Bloomberg, with the report suggesting a new glass back will be part of the design. That would in turn allow for reverse wireless charging, although it remains to be seen whether that comes to fruition. Being able to charge an iPhone using an iPad Pro does sound like a useful feature, however.
