Apple is once again in the middle of a new round of software updates after releasing iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 to the public. Alongside those releases, Apple has now also made tvOS 17.2, watchOS 10.2, and macOS 14.2 available for download.
The new software updates are all available for download now via the usual software update mechanisms for their respective devices. As ever we’d suggest that downloading the new update is the way to go, especially if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on the latest features.
macOS 14.2
Apple’s macOS 14.2 update is now available for download with three key new features. The first is the enhanced AugoFill PDF feature that lets you use Contacts data to fill out a document. Contact Key Verification has also come to the Messages app while the Weather app just gained new precipitation amounts and the addition of a new wind map.
watchOS 10.2
There are the usual fixes and security updates in watchOS 10.2, but the biggest change that you’re likely to want to get your hands on is the ability to once again swipe between watch faces on the Apple Watch. Apple removed that ability with the watchOS 10 release for reasons unknown, but it’s now back.
tvOS 17.2
Apple’s tvOS updates are often some of the smallest around, but tvOS 17.2 brings with it a new TV app with a whole new design. There is also the removal of the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps as well, with the TV app now being the place to go to get your hands on new content.
