Download: iOS 17.5.1 IPSW Links, OTA Update Out Now

Apple has today released for download iOS 17.5.1 final IPSW links and OTA update alongside iPadOS 17.5.1 for iPhone and iPad respectively. And you can grab them right now.

This update comes very soon after Apple released iOS 17.5 to the world and is likely to be one of the last before the WWDC event on June 10. That event will see Apple preview iOS 18 ahead of an expected September release, but for now, iOS 17.5.1 is the latest and greatest update available.

You’re probably going to want to make sure to download it sooner rather than later, too. This update brings with it a fix for a particularly bad bug that caused some people to experience an issue where previously deleted photos were reappearing in the Photos app.

This update provides important bug fixes and addresses a rare issue where photos that experienced database corruption could reappear in the Photos library even if they were deleted.

Those who want to install the update on their iPhone or iPad can do so via the usual software update mechanism in the Settings app, while those who want to download the IPSW files and install them manually can do that using the links below.
