Tweetbot has certainly built up a strong reputation among Twitter users on Apple products, and with the big Tweetbot 3 release for iPhone and iPod touch just a short while ago, the app's publishers have already come through with a rather handsome update. Having apparently recooked the UI from the ground up over the previous version, one or two of Tweetbot 2's most popular features seemed to have been dragged away by the cull, but as the process of continual improvement enters the next stage, Tweetbot 3.1 sees the restoration of some of the app's most useful quirks.
One of the great things about always carrying a smartphone like the iPhone around in our pockets is the ability to almost instantly capture the beauty of any situation or environment. Apple has done a great job of providing us with instant access to the Camera app on the iPhone and iPod touch, meaning that those precious moments that may have been missed at one point can now be captured in a still photograph or full, high-definition video. But, what happens when a photograph just doesn't cut it and a 1080p video is overkill? The makers of the Bubbli app for iPhone and iPod touch believe their software is the perfect answer and is "the next best thing to being there". And furthermore, it brings the famed Android Photosphere feature to Apple's famed smartphone.

The iPhone 5s delivered a plethora of changes and alterations over the preceding iPhone 5, and as ever, we all got a little bit excited. As well as throwing in a dual-LED, 'True Tone' flash, 'Touch ID' fingerprint sensor and a new Gold model for everybody to drool over, the Cupertino company also revamped the processor with an A7, 64-bit offering, making the device the very first smartphone to offer such architecture. To cap things off, there's now an M7 motion coprocessor thrown into the melting pot, aiding overall efficiency by helping certain processes run in the background. Naturally, app developers have been steadfast in their adaption to the new features, and now, the popular RunKeeper app has been updated to take advantage of M7. Details after the break.
Technology enthusiasts are always interested in experiencing new and innovative solutions that make daily life that little bit easier. Security is generally high on everyone's agenda when using our static and mobile devices, but where is it written that a secure computer has to be a tedious one? The new Knock app is aiming to put an end to that tedium by letting users unlock their Macs by simply 'knocking' on their iPhone.
We all know Apple has a diverse range of fantastic hardware and software based products that seem to resonate with consumers all over the world. Sometimes though, those products just aren't enough and the financial success of a company invariably comes down to converting that consumer interest into sales that puts cash in the Cupertino bank. Apple's financial records indicate that extracting dollars from users isn't the most difficult thing they have to do, but in an attempt to make that purchasing process more widespread and efficient, they have extended the Apple Store Passbook support beyond the shores of the United States.

One of Apple's most useful, but often overlooked, in-house app has today received a substantial update. When Apple first launched the App Store, their own Remote app was one of the few apps that really provided any kind of innovative solution for music control. In the time that has followed; a number of third-party developers have released extremely powerful creations that offer the same functionality plus a little bit more thrown in for good measure. Remote for iOS has been allowed to fall a little bit behind the times but all that has been rectified with this big v4.0 update.
The introduction of new iPhone hardware means that we will start to see an influx of more powerful and capable apps. The Photography genre within the App Store has always been one of the most vibrant, but the lack of innovation in that category has become extremely noticeable. The new powerful camera within the iPhone 5s aims to change that, a snowball effect being that we are now also seeing some fantastic new photography apps hitting the store. Tadaa SLR from menschmashine Publishing is one of the best new additions to that genre.
