iOS 4.2 has already been jailbroken for old bootrom devices with PwnageTool for Macs! And now we have good news for our PC-toting readers: it is coming real soon to Windows with Sn0wbreeze!
PwnageTool Bundle for iOS 4.2 Beta on iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) has been released. You can use this bundle to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.2 while preserving your older baseband so that you can unlock it “later” (more on this below) using Ultrasn0w. The best thing about this bundle is that it supports hacktivation, but unfortunately, Cydia is currently not compatible with iOS 4.2. You will have to use SSH (OpenSSH) to copy or install any files manually on your iPhone.
The first Beta version of iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is now available to developers. It brings tons of new features, including: the much awaited multitasking, Game Center, Folders and Universal Mailbox features to the iPad. Apple has just seeded the first Beta of iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. This beta build, like any other iOS beta is meant for developers only. Only members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can access these bits of by signing into Apple Developer Connection.
If the steps posted earlier were too difficult for you to follow, well you can now get HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography feature on your jailbroken iPhone 3G and 3GS with a new tweak in Cydia which goes by the name of “HDR Camera Enabler”.

We informed you earlier that there is soon going to be a way to enable iOS 4.1 HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography feature on your jailbroken iPhone 3G and 3GS. While the Cydia tweak still isn't out yet, you can follow the steps posted below to enable this feature as long as you have managed to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS or 3G on iOS 4.1.
We previously posted an entire guide on how to Jailbreak the PlayStation 3 with an Android Phone and also that iPhone Dev-Team member MuscleNerd confirmed that the hack would soon be coming to iPhones. Well guess what, it’s here folks! The PSGroove / PSFreedom has been ported over to jailbroken iPhones but the interesting thing is that it is not by the same team which MuscleNerd talked about. It’s actually by a hacker who goes by the name of NTAuthority! and he has used OpeniBoot method which was previously used to port Android on iPhone 2G, 3G and iPod touch.

Mac4ever has posted rumors in a post today where they say that FaceTime, a video chatting service for iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G, will soon be coming to iChat which is an IM application that comes with OS X. They also say that iLife 11 (without iDVD) is coming soon.
