Watch: Huawei Uses Siri To Mock Apple, Samsung In New Device Teaser Trailer [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·February 18, 2014
A little light-hearted mocking of rivaling companies and their products never hurt anybody in the tech industry, and as we've seen through numerous ad campaigns over the years, they're all at it. With MWC not too far away, Huawei has caricatured Apple's Siri voice assistant to rib both the Cupertino company and rival Samsung, while also promoting its new, to-be-announced smartphone and tablet. Check out the humorous clip right after the break!

Apple To Release iPad Air With A8 Processor And Touch ID This Year, iPad Pro In 2015

Oliver Haslam·February 16, 2014
Analysts are notoriously hit and miss when it comes to their predictions at the best of times, and that goes doubly so when you throw Apple and its wall of secrecy into the mix. That doesn't stop analyst upon analyst trying to guess and double-guess what the folks in Cupertino have up their collective sleeves, and it doesn't stop us from listening to them either. Which is fine, so long as their claims come with a healthy dose of salt.

iPhone Users Are ‘Blindly’ Loyal To Apple, New Survey Reveals

Oliver Haslam·February 14, 2014
It's no secret that Apple has managed to create itself a loyal following over the last ten years, and that's been built on existing loyalty that spans all the way back to the company's startup roots. The introduction of the iPhone and iPad have only strengthened what was already a strong brand for the company, and a new poll suggests that Apple has garnered a 'blind loyalty' amongst iPhone users in particular.

Mediation Between Apple And Samsung Fails, Court Case To Follow Soon

Ben Reid·February 14, 2014
The Apple vs. Samsung patent debacle has been a recurring theme of the mobile industry during the past few years, with each company putting forth their cases pertaining to the supposed patent infringement of the other. Prior to each hearing, the executives high up in both Samsung and Apple meet up for clear-the-air talks in an attempt to find some kind of resolution. But this mandatory meeting seldom works where these two titans are concerned, and with another high profile court case looming, a meeting between Apple chief Tim Cook and JK Shin - just one of the Korean company's three CEOs, has proved a fruitless exercise.

Ben Reid·February 12, 2014
Steve Jobs' passing has left a significant void in the world of technology, particularly at Apple, the company he co-founded and led from near-collapse to the force it has become in the modern Digital Age. As well as the Walter Isaacson biography and the forthcoming Sony movie, there are numerous, clips, quotes, and, of course, products that serve to remind us of just how influential Jobs has been in the technology industry. Today, for the first time, photos have been released offering a visual of some of the capsule's contents.
