Beats Has New Glow-In-The-Dark Powerbeats For $200

Beats is known for offering its headphones in some weird and wonderful color options, but if the Powerbeats colors aren’t to your liking you’ll be pleased to learn that there’s a no option – a new glow-in-the-dark colorway.

A collaboration between AMBUSH and Beats, the new glowing Powerbeats are identical to all of the others beyond that rather fetching color option.

You probably won’t be missing these in the dark and it’s arguable that they’ll make runners safer when they’re out and about at night time.

Feature-wise, these are the same excellent Powerbeats people have been buying for a while now. That means you can look forward to instant pairing and device switching thanks to the Apple H1 chip as well as dual beamforming microphones for improved audio.

Yoon Ahn, the cofounder and creative director for Tokyo-based label AMBUSH, is known for her non-traditional, unisex designs that elevate everyday objects and merge together unexpected elements of streetwear, jewelry, luxury fashion and the local subcultures of her city. With this partnership, Yoon was inspired by the creative spark that can come from your nocturnal side — especially when living in a city like Tokyo, which comes to life at night with a particular energy.

Battery life comes in at around 15 hours from a single charge and you can get a full hour of playback from a single 5-minute charge, too. Charging is handled by Lightning.

Runners and gym-goers will enjoy the IPX4 rating that makes these great for taking into the gym and out in the rain.
