Amazon is offering the ASUS 14-inch C423 Chromebook for just $223. That’s a great saving on the usual price of around $270 and is likely to be around for today only.

The notebook has a 14-inch HD anti-glare display that has super narrow bezels and looks gorgeous. Inside, there is 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage alongside an Intel Celeron dual core N3350 CPU. That might not sound powerful, but given this thing runs Chrome OS you don’t need the power hungry chips that reside in some other notebook machines.

If that 32GB of on-board storage isn’t enough for you there is also a microSD card slot that can be used to improve matters on that front.

Buy: ASUS 14-inch C423 Chromebook from Amazon: $229.99 | Original price: $270

Chromebook runs on chrome OS – an operating system by Google that is built for the way we live today. It comes with built-in virus protection, updates automatically*, boots up in seconds and continues to stay fast over time.

With support for apps from the Google Play Store, this notebook also lets you run Android apps right on your Chromebook which immediately gives you access to all the apps you already use on your Android phone.

This notebook is perfectly suited to anyone who spends all of their time in Google Docs or just needs a speedy web browser to work with. Students in particular can definitely make great use of this thing, and it’s pretty inexpensive, too.

Like we mentioned earlier, this price is expected to only last for the remainder of the day. If you want to get an order in we’d suggest doing it pretty soon to avoid disappointment.
