Google Branded Chrome OS Netbook to Launch in 2010

Michael Arrington of TechCrunch is reporting on an interesting news regarding a Google branded netbook, which could launch late next year. This rumored netbook will of coarse run on top of Chrome OS with mobility features like support for 3G, and will be sold directly to consumers under the Google brand.

Twitter App for Zune HD Now Available for Download

Microsoft today has announced the availability of Twitter app for the Zune HD portable media player. Zune HD 4.3 firmware was released last month which added support for running 3D games and apps on the Tegra-powered Zune HD. The first batch of these games and apps finally arrived last month as a free download via the Zune Marketplace.

We did inform you about Microsoft plans to release some of the apps/games from Vista Ultimate Extras for Windows 7, and well they are finally here via Games for Windows Live. Microsoft today has released Tinker - a puzzle game in which the goal is to help a robot reach his home by solving all the misleading puzzles. Tinker offers 60 different puzzles for you to solve and master. You can find more about Microsoft Tinker, including a video demo from our review posted here.

We have been hearing all about the upcoming Google Nexus One phone, including pictures, specs and price, but its hard to believe that not even a single video of the phone existed, until now. Folks over at The Nexus One, who seems to have the phone have managed to capture the device in action, showing the now-famous “X” boot up sequence of Android 2.1 on Nexus One.

Based on the film story and developed by Gameloft, James Cameron’s Avatar on the iPhone has great graphics, sound effects and story line that will keep you busy for hours of play. Graphics are stunningly smooth on iPhone 3GS, and there is no reason why the experience shouldn't be same on the iPhone 3G/2G and iPod touch.

Android 2.1 for Motorola Droid Leaked

Folks over at Sholes.info have managed to port Android 2.1 on Motorola Droid. You can go ahead and try it now but the hacker has a warning placed on his site which states that the current Rom release is unstable and might brick your phone. Earlier this month, Android 2.1 Rom was leaked for HTC Hero with the latest version of Sense UI, fully optimized to run on this latest version of Android.

iPhone 4.0 Firmware Spotted in the Wild

The folks over at BGR have found out references to iPhone 3.1.3, and the iPhone 4.0 firmware version in their server logs and they seems to be legitimate. While iPhone 3.1.3 will only be a minor release, the 4.0 version certainly denotes a major release version and we can expect it to ship with the next-generation iPhone model sometime in summer 2010. Nothing much is known about about the features that the new firmware is going to offer, but we can expect it to add alot of new features, similar to what was experienced when firmware 3.0 was released.

While analyzing their website logs, BGR has found out something very interesting, related to the upcoming iPhone OS firmware release. Their server logs have clearly shown existence of both iPhone 3.1.3, and the major release - the iPhone 4.0 firmware. While we don't know what new features the new firmware will offer, one thing is for sure that iPhone 3.1.3 firmware is only going to be a minor release for bug fixes and patches.
