Google has finally answered the prayers of its legions of Chrome Remote Desktop users by bringing the powerful service to Android mobile devices. The native mobile app has been made available as a free-of-charge download directly from the Google Play Store and will act as a dedicated counterpart to the existing desktop app that has proved so popular with PC and Mac users.

As much as we all love and treasure our mobile devices, we also love it when an individual or company creates and uploads a video that shows a device being pushed to its physical limits.
Google Glass is now on sale for 24 hours only, are you buying it? Take our poll at the bottom of this post and let us know. In order to be able to purchase a Glass headset, the consumer must be a resident of the United States and be legally classed as an adult. Oh, they must also be willing to part with $1,500 plus local sales tax. That bit’s important.
With Google clearly feeling extremely confident about the future of Glass, and with a whole heap of new users likely to come on board, Google has announced that Glass Updates are back. Owners of the powerful Glass headset will be able to update its firmware later this week and receive a number of powerful updates that should boost the overall Glass experience for end-users.
We thought things had gone a little too far when we heard that Apple had introduced an app section within the iOS App Store dedicated to taking selfies. The practice of taking a photo of yourself has - for one reason or another - grown immensely popular in the last six months, leaving Apple with no option but to try and capitalize on it by curating a selection of the finest selfie based apps out there. If, like us, you thought that things couldn't get any crazier, then allow us to introduce you to S.E.L.F.I.E, the world's first magical mirror that can capture your photo (read: selfie) and post it to Twitter.
If there's one thing that really annoys me after purchasing an expensive piece of tech it's when the whole thing catches fire and renders itself useless. It's so inconvenient. Granted, it doesn't happen a lot, but if Sony's recent product awareness announcement is anything to go by then it looks like the VAIO Fit 11A could be at risk of doing just that. Sony has apparently discovered that the batteries used within the hybrid could contain a serious fault that puts the product at risk of spontaneously catching fire without any prior warning.
If iOS is your gaming platform of choice and old school desktop classics are your thing, then it looks like Atari has come good once again for you. The famous publishing company has filled a lot of gamers' hearts with joy with ports of classics like Breakout and Centipede to the small screen. The Atari Greatest Hits app also managed to bring back feelings of excitement and nostalgia when it landed many moons ago. Not content with previous releases, Atari has done it again by bringing RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 to the App Store for iPhone and iPad devices.
It's fair to say that majority of the users jailbreak their iOS device with the intention of installing one or two essential packages to improve the overall experience which Apple provides out of the box. For those individuals, Cydia is thought of purely as a third-party app store and interacted with as such. However, there are also a number of power users who are passionate about jailbreaking and occasionally want to peek inside the executable files that make up the tweaks that they're installing. If you happen to be one of those, and want to gain access to a .DEB file through your device then carry on reading.
It's relatively rare that a mobile game comes along and manages to generate as much excitement and pre-release hype that the Family Guy announcement managed last December. Sure, there's been a string of extremely popular smash hit games that have immediately benefited from going viral and getting tons of downloads and success on the back of that. However, the Family Guy franchise is an existing household name that already boasts an animated TV series, along with a whole heap of official merchandise. Add to that a stunning, extremely fun and visually impressive mobile game that's now available to download for iOS and Android.
There's been plenty of speculation recently surrounding Apple's product plans for the remainder of the year. Conjecture and Internet based chit-chat continues to grow regarding what may or may not be included in iOS 8. Most of which will be either confirmed or denied when we get our first glimpse of the firmware in June at WWDC 2014. There's also mounting speculation about the fruit company's plans for the next-generation iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 6, with most focus being specifically placed on the device's display dimensions. Ming-Chi Kuo, of KGI Securities fame, has added fuel to that fire and put the cat amongst the pigeons by releasing a product timeline, indicating that Q3 could be a huge period for Apple.
