PlayStation 4 Has No Used Game Restrictions, Can Also Play Games Offline

Ben Reid·June 11, 2013
When a rumor takes hold prior to a big announcement, a few utterances can often escalate into pure scaremongering, and in the run-up to the grand unveiling of the next-gen games consoles, many had feared we were moving towards a generation of so-called 'always on' connections being a prerequisite for enjoying any game. Suffice to say, Sony has stepped out and confirmed that gamers can happily enjoy games without an Internet connection, and what's more, used titles can be played without any fuss.

TeXTe For Android Lets You Filter Through Messages From Important Contacts

Ben Reid·June 8, 2013
TeXTe for Android is a novel little app which allows you to set a specific code word, which in turn can be shared with important contacts and when your device is on silent, TeXTe will detect the word within the message, and a loud alarm will ring loud and clear, ensuring you don't miss anything you may need to know.

How To Initiate A Voice Call, FaceTime Call, Or Send Messages From Anywhere In iOS

Ben Reid·June 8, 2013
QuickCall, a new tweak just made available over at the BigBoss repository, essentially allows you to throw up your contacts in an impromptu fashion using an activation method of your desire, before skimming through your contacts and making a call, starting a FaceTime call, or sending a message. Not only is this insanely useful if you don't wish to jump back through the home screen and between apps if you want to do different things, but the interface itself is very aesthetically pleasing. More details can be found right after the break!

iOS 7 Logo Confirmed As WWDC 2013 Banners Go Up At Moscone Center [IMAGE]

Ben Reid·June 7, 2013
We've been heavily reliant on the WWDC logo to offer some kind of indication as to the changes to be made with iOS 7, and with just a weekend now to go before Apple's WWDC 2013 kicks off in Moscone West, the Cupertino company has confirmed the logo of the forthcoming software. As we've come to assume from the reports and rumors of late, the next version of iOS will be very much a clean-up job, and this demonstrated rather emphatically by the new logo. Take a look after the break!

Gangstar Vegas For iOS Released, Is A Cool Alternative To GTA With Open-World Action [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·June 7, 2013
When it comes to delivering a steady supply of mobile games, few put in more work than Gameloft, and not only does the publisher release a varied mix of different titles, but it is also admirably unafraid of competing with some of the industry's classics. The Gangstar series, for example, is a pretty obvious clone of Grand Theft Auto in that it copies just about every theme from Rockstar Games' most famous outlet, and today, Gameloft has just dropped Gangstar: Vegas over at Apple's App Store.
