Apple Releases iOS 17 Public Beta 2, Re-releases Dev Beta 4 Of iOS 17

Apple has just made available to download iOS 17 public beta 2 along with public beta 2 of iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10, tvOS 17 and more.

This release comes after Apple released beta 4 of iOS 17 and others last week to developers and testers of Apple Beta Software Program.

Apart from public beta 2 for testers, Apple has also re-released developer beta 4 of iOS 17 as well as iPadOS 17 to developers. The revised build of beta 4 carries number 21A5291j which is slightly different than 21A5291h of previous beta 4 build released last week.

Personally, I have been having a lot of poor battery life and overheating issues ever since I installed beta 4 of iOS 17 on my iPhone 14 Pro so fingers crossed this revised build fixes this issue for me.

You can grab both iOS 17 public beta 2 and iOS 17 developer beta 2 as OTA update by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update and grabbing the over-the-air update from there.

If there’s any other change in these latest beta builds, we will let you know. Stay tuned for more!
