Apple Posts Video Tutorials On iPhone 7 Photography, Tips And Tricks

Cupertino-based Apple has once again proven that it is very serious about photography using its iPhone hardware. The company has put together a new series of videos entitled “How to shoot on iPhone 7”, with the aim of showing iPhone owners how to get the best out of the iPhone 7 camera capabilities.

In an effort to reach as many people as possible, and to teach as many people as possible how to get the most out of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has uploaded the aforementioned series of short videos both to its YouTube channel and a new dedicated website, where those interested can directly access the new content. The content is designed to teach those iPhone 7 and 7 Plus owners how to successfully shoot the best photographs using the various styles and modes on the hardware.

One thing that it’s immediately evident is that these videos aren’t intended to be offered as a masterclass of mobile photography for professional users. Each video is approximately 40-seconds in length and offers a clear step-by-step process on how to capture videos and photos using the different modes. As an example, there’s a video dedicated to iPhone 7 Plus owners called “How to shoot a great portrait on iPhone 7 Plus”.

A few of the videos cover relatively simple things that most of us probably do on a daily basis when interacting with iPhone 7’s camera. However, things are stepped up in complexity a little bit with the “How to shoot action on iPhone 7” video and “How to shoot a vertical Pano on iPhone 7.” Those two step-by-step guides go a little above and beyond capturing just a single still image with the best possible conditions. Most of the other content appears to be aimed at iPhone 7 owners who have very little to no photography experience whatsoever using the device.

The beautiful new website features a total of sixteen video tutorials, with each one really bringing some decent and exciting advice to the table for those who want to seriously start exploring mobile photography.

Anyone interested can head directly on over to to view the content in its entirety, or can simply check out the five YouTube videos, embedded below. It’s unknown at this time if Apple will be adding more videos to the series.
