Apple Makes A $10 iOS App Available For Free As Its App Of The Week [Limited Time Only]

Apple’s Free App of the Week initiative now features a $10 iPhone, iPad and iPod touch app going absolutely free till next Thursday.

Called MindNode, the app is a monster of a productivity app that aims at helping people map their ideas in the form of connected nodes starting with a central idea and expanding outwards from there. Given the massive appeal of the app, it’s hardly a surprise that this is the first time ever where we see the title completely drop its price tag.

The app is also available for the Mac, which of course isn’t free right now and costs a whopping $30, but if you already own this powerhouse of an app, getting it for free on your iOS device will allow you to sync your ideas between your two favorite platforms.

Creating and brainstorming ideas can be a taxing task and it really pays off for such purposed apps to pack a clean and intuitive interface. This is exactly where MindNode excels, allowing you to focus on the task at hand and not worry about the layout.

-Simply rearrange your thoughts and hide entire branches to stay on top of your idea
-Automatically keep complicated mind maps organized using Smart Layout
-Highlight important nodes using different colors, fonts, and strokes
-Add notes to topics and labels to connections for additional details
-Easily browse large and complicated maps using a built-in outline
-Get things done by turning nodes into tasks, with parent nodes showing your progress

That said, what good are ideas that can’t be shared with others? MindNode gives you a plethora of options when it comes to exporting them by sharing as CSV, PDF, PNG files etc. More so, ideas can also be imported from a variety of apps.

-Access all your mind maps from your iPhone, iPad or Mac using iCloud Drive
-Share interactive documents publicly via the web through our MyMindNode service
-Import your mind map from MindManager, FreeMind, OPML, Markdown, TaskPaper, CSV, or text outline
-Export your mind map as a PDF, FreeMind, OPML, PNG, Markdown, TaskPaper, CSV, or text outline
-Export your tasks to Apple’s Reminders and OmniFocus
