Apple Announces The New International Collection Of Apple Watch Bands And Faces

Apple today announced the International Collection, a run of 22 different Sport Loop bands and faces that represent countries ahead of the Summer Olympics.

The Olympics will take place in Tokyo next month.

Each of the bands is unique and looks great with the matching watch face installed. Apple says those faces can be downloaded by scanning an App Clip code on its box. Functionally, the watch bands are standard Sport Loops and look great.

The 22 countries represented by the International Collection includes all the ones you might expect.

The soft, breathable, and lightweight International Collection Sport Loop bands are available representing the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the US.

All of the new bands are available to order online and in Apple Stores from $49, with both 40mm and 44mm options available. Make sure to have the right one selected when you’re placing an order.

Apple has done similar colorful runs like this before, having created 14 different bands for the 2016 Olympics. However, that time around the bands could only be bought in Brazil — at the Apple Store in VIllage Mall in Barra da Tijuca.
