There is now a new tweak available in Cydia which allows you to add volume slider control to the now playing bar found in App Switcher / Multitasking Tray on iOS 4.x iPhone and iPod touch devices.
iOS 4 Only
Adds a volume slider control to the now playing bar.
There are no icons added to the homescreen and no setting to configure.
Apple, will be default include this as a feature in iOS 4.2 for iPad only.
You will, of course, need to have a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch to install it. Follow our step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with Limera1n or GreenPois0n if you haven’t already.
App Switcher Volume is available for $0.99 under Big Boss repository from Cydia.
