Apple is expected to announce its first foldable iPhone this fall, and a new YouTube video appears to show exactly what it will look like.
Dubbed the iPhone Fold, the Unbox Therapy video runs for 10 minutes and gives us a full look at what is thought to be a dummy unit for the device. The video shows a foldable phone that is more squat than those sold by Samsung, Oppo, and others, and more closely matches the now-discontinued Microsoft Surface Duo device.

While Apple isn’t expected to take the wraps off the first foldable iPhone for a few months, we’ve been seeing more and more leaks over the last few weeks. This latest is the best yet, and includes dimension measurements that make the device 117mm tall, 84.27mm wide, and 16.57mm thick when closed. Open, it’ll come in at just 5.2mm, making it an incredibly thin device.
The video shows the iPhone Fold’s sizeable camera bump as well as the way it makes the device wobble when placed flat on a table. Many phones also wobble when used in a similar way, though, so this shouldn’t be enough to put anyone off buying the device.
The price, however, might, with estimates so far suggesting it could cost considerably more than $2,000, especially for the larger storage capacities.
It’s expected that the foldable iPhone will be announced this September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
