Apple iMac Pro Now Available To Pick Up In-Store Within The U.S.

Apple’s release of the iMac Pro is causing quite the stir right now, and in a world that has been starved of true high-end, professional-grade Macs for years now, it is easy to see why that is the case.

The new iMac Pro has been available to order online for a little while, but stock is now also starting to show up in Apple Stores across the United States.

As of the time of writing, it would only appear that the base model iMac Pro is available for pickup in-store, but at a wallet busting price and specifications to match, that’s still a hell of a lot of machine hidden in that 27-inch display. For your $4,999, you will receive an iMac Pro with the following specification:

  • 5K display
  • 8-core Xeon W CPU
  • 32GB of DDR4 ECC RAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU with 8GB HBM2

You will, of course, be able to get your hands on those sexy new Space Gray accessories if you go and buy a new iMac Pro in-store, although if you want that Space Gray Magic Trackpad, then you will need to order ahead of time and, unfortunately, that alone will push your delivery date back – no in-store pickups will be available with the Magic Trackpad in tow.

If the Apple Store is too far away, then some Best Buy outlets are also stocking the same base configuration iMac Pro with in-store pickup available, and if you’d like, you can also pre-order via B&H, which may, for some buyers, reap tax benefits – something well worth considering when spending upwards of $4,999 on a computer. We dare not look how much a maxed out iMac Pro will cost!
